Pilbara Minerals is pleased to share that four of our Great People have been accepted into the 2023 Women in Mining and Resources WA (WIMWA) Mentoring Program.
Congratulations to Project Administrator Chelsea Reynolds, Plant Metallurgist Minty Nguyen, Recruitment Officer Amanda Sheehan, and Concentrate Logistics Superintendent Michelle Bowden who were successful in their applications to participate in the sought-after program.
Designed to support women in developing skills to grow and advance their careers, the program matches participants with a mentor who is thriving in their career, to provide individual support and guidance.
Throughout the year, participants attend events to build their networking skills and professional networks, and regularly meet with their mentor to work on areas identified in their application.
The mentoring program is one initiative offered by WIMWA to achieve their mission of encouraging women to increase their presence in mining and resources, providing a strong network for women and advocating for the industry to be proactive in attracting and retaining women in the resources sector.
Pilbara Minerals is proud to support Chelsea, Minty, Amanda and Michelle throughout this year’s program. As a business, we are committed to equality in the workplace and will continue to promote a sustainable and diverse workforce.
We wish Chelsea, Minty, Amanda and Michelle all the best in this exciting opportunity.
